Motorbike Security

If you or anyone you know owns a motorbike, please read on… 

When considering motorbike security, disc locks, chains and ground anchors are usually on the list. 

If you are considering new items or upgrading existing security, I would recommend products certified by 

Secured By Design www.securedbydesign.com and

Sold Secured www.soldsecure.com 

These organisations test, rate, and provide information on security products, including products that have been tested against angle grinders and bolt cutters, including brands such as Oxford, Squire, Hiplok, Litelok and ABUS amongst others

Layering security will slow thieves down, meaning they are more likely to go elsewhere. 

Use these items along aside improved garage security, alarms, lighting and possible CCTV. 

If you see anyone acting suspiciously near to your property, please contact the police immediately with as detailed a description as possible of the person and any vehicle.
